All doors open at 8:30am every day. Doors and gates close at 8:45am and registration takes place.
The school day in Nursery is 8:45am - 3:10pm
The school day in Reception through to Year 6 is 8:45am - 3:15pm
Abbey Hey Primary Academy attendance policy states that holidays taken during term time will NOT be authorised. If a pupil is absent from school for a medical appointment, evidence is required in order to authorise the absence.
Please inform school, as soon as possible, if for any reason your child will be absent. We would be grateful if parents/guardians contact us before 9:30am of any absence. The safety of our pupils is of the upmost importance and therefore you will be contacted if we have any concerns about the whereabouts of our pupils.
The school week at Abbey Hey Primary Academy is 32.5 hours including the time in each day from the official start of the school day (i.e. morning registration) to the official end of the school day (i.e. official home time) which meets the minimum expectation for the length of a school week.
