Each child will have a House Point Card that members of staff can sign when they notice a child demonstrating the qualities which each core value represents.
Each week, House Captains, an elected child from Year 6, will collect the number of points collected from children in their House from each class. Class teachers will need to have totalled the points for each child that week (this could be class monitor) and the House Captains will simply add up the amount and complete a total. House points will be shared in the Star of the Week assembly on a Friday; the class that has the house with the most amount of points that week will take the trophy for that week.
For example: Rowling scored the most points throughout the school – the class with the greatest number of Rowling points eg: 6W would take the trophy for that week.
At the end of the school year, the house who have collected the most points will get to decide on a celebration day to recognise their efforts.
